Oftentimes our clients are experts in many areas of exterior home services. That usually incorporates windows, doors, siding and gutters. Here are some fresh websites highlighting exterior services.
1. Louisville Window Company (Windows and Doors Website Design by Hook)
Sometimes you just have to show your beautiful products in action!
- This site is purely visual candy to start off with a comfy family in their big beautiful kitchen with massive patio doors and big open windows.
- Always start with great photography when it comes to Windows & Doors website design.
- Several of the other examples are also exterior remodeling companies – but if you’re just selling windows & doors, you have a massive advantage to push into the aesthetic quality of your work, and grab people’s attention that way quickly.
2. Arch Exteriors (Designed by Hook Agency)
What are we doing well?
Arch Exteriors came to us ready for a cleaner, more user friendly website, with spruced up branding and colors. We really wanted to highlight the fact that they are the premium exterior services choice amongst their competitors, and we do so by using modern colors, gradients, shapes and functionality throughout the site. We want users to gain trust with the site, and therefore, trust with ARCH, their service provider.
3. HomeWorx Remodeling (Designed by Hook Agency)
What are we doing well?
Again, HomewWorx Remodeling (based out of Des Moines, Iowa) is not primarily a windows and doors company, but remodelers really do it all. HomeWorx really has a nice eye for design when it comes to both interior and exterior projects. For this site, we really wanted to let the work speak for itself with large project images, and clean, minimal design. Check it out live!
4. Geek Suite Exteriors (A site designed by Hook Agency)
What we doing well?
Right off the bat, Geek Suite Exteriors comes in strong with lively, quirky branding. The “Geeks” utilize bright colors, and house illustrations that convey a bright and nostalgic personality for a contractor. This made our lives easier by simply showing off everything they have to offer.
5. Obrebski Brothers
What are they doing well?
The Obrebski Brothers’ website is very friendly and welcoming. They utilize bright colors, modern typography, and lots of white space. The photos are sharp and have happy-looking clients.
What isn’t working well?
Icons and logos of partners are great trust factors for a website. Making them bigger, or at least placing them towards the top of the page will make the site and the services more credible and trustworthy.
6. Phoenix Windows and Doors
What are they doing well?
We love seeing smiling faces in the hero image! This site for Phoenix Windows and Doors utilizes large, high-quality photos to highlight services and to promote quality client work. We also really like the calm color palette and typeface choices. It gives the site a sleek overall look and feel.
What isn’t working well?
Reviews and ratings are important! They might work better towards the top of the site so that potential customers can easily see evidence of the quality of the services.
7. The Window and Door Shop, Inc.
What are they doing well?
Based out of Sacramento, CA., this website for The Window and Door Shop has a fresh bright color palette, not something we would expect out of a windows and doors contractor. We also enjoy the simple layout as well as the featured product spotlight. This is a nice add-on, and provides an opportunity for the client to pursue more of their business.
What isn’t working well?
A lot of the text seems to be similar in scale. Overall, this site would work better with more hierarchy, either with scale, color, or open space.
