Congratulations on time travel. Enough time has passed that we have legit seen a couple amazing things from Back to the Future come to pass.
Here’s two hoverboards that are out there today.
The non-cimematic version caveat (you knew it was coming:) Real hover-boards that just float on a road are not yet available for most people to buy. There are usually special conditions that these boards have to be used under. I appreciate what Lexus is doing, as the frictionless transportation bit will be important for other transportation applications besides hover-boards for years to come.
