Focus - less is more social media and blogs

Let’s face it you will never read everything you want to in your industry, or listen to all the podcasts or absorb everything but I personally love utilizing the ‘lists’ feature on Twitter and having small number of resources I continually consult to help fuel my entrepreneurial fire (and tickle my funny bone.) I honestly believe the fact that less is more in so many regards – follow less blogs so that you can follow the most high quality (and stop wasting time on shit.) Make lists and have only a short list of people you always are watching – to get the most out of your time on social and consuming so you can get back to CREATING.

Here are my five resources I come back to – on a regular basis – and I’m curious what yours are! Please share in the comments so I can take inspiration from your top 5 sources of inspiration you’re always coming back to!

1. BacklinkO Blog about SEO for the most up to date and succinct tips for search engine optimization.

2. #AskGaryVee PodcastGary Vaynerchuck on Facebook for hustle motivation and social media strategy tips.

3. Visual Idiot and IamDevloper on Twitter – for funny tweets on both design and development.

4. FuckJerry, ShitheadSteve and Tank.Sinatra on Instagram. Because all I needs is memes.

5. Conversion XL for Conversion Rate Optimization -or- the art of making websites that do their job better.

Yes I come across a lot of other stuff – and read or listen to a book or two a month on average –   but when you try to whittle it down to the 5 things (or small categories of things) that you would come back to for sure oln a regular basis it clarifies where your priorities are I suppose. I think mine are succinct SEO tips, Hustle, funny shit about design, development, memes and conversion rate optimization.

Your turn! What are 5 sources of inspiration you’re always coming back to?
